Datacor is dedicated to digital product creation and business process simplification through the implementation of odoo ERP/CRM software. Grayhats is helping Datacor to redefine their product portfolio by integrating advanced cloud services within odoo, with which they have created the concept of "odoo powered by AWS",

as well as the business applications they create by moving to a serverless model and integrating high value-added services such as artificial intelligence-based recommendation engines or event prediction based on a historical time series. 

Moreover, grayhats provides the secure cloud infrastructure to host the odoo ERP and CRM instances that Datacor maintains for its customers.

Silbon is a men's fashion brand born in Córdoba (Spain) in 2006. Since then they have expanded throughout Spain with more than 15 shops in different cities. Continuing with Silbon's expansion trend, the company is committed to its online shop as part of its omnichannel strategy, strengthening the relationship with the customer through tools such as blogs and news channels. The company highlights the 170% annual growth in sales through its online shop. 

We migrated and consolidated their VPS server infrastructure from different providers to a consistent architecture based on AWS. One of their main concerns was the adaptability to high demands as in fashion, the launch of new sales or dates such as Black Friday produce a significant and fortuitous peak. The launch took place a few days before Black Friday and resulted in a 12-fold increase in turnover compared to the previous Black Friday.

Nasuni is a Boston-based technology company that pioneered the commercialisation of cloud object storage by developing the first cloud-native file system, UniFS®. Nasuni's storage software uses object storage, file caching appliances and the company's proprietary UniFS global file system to deliver a cloud solution that replaces traditional file servers and network-attached storage (NAS).

Grayhats has participated in several projects with Nasuni as a technology partner, including the special achievement in the R&D project carried out in 2018, led by its CEO Andrés Rodriguez and its main product development team, to adapt and optimise its protocol to adapt it to the file transfer carried out by the PLM software, SIEMENS Teamcenter. In it, we managed to increase the transfer speed of engineering CAD files between 3 sites (Cologne - Germany, Seoul - Korea and San Francisco - USA) significantly. (Link to press release)

Sibbo Ventures is a company founded in 2015 that offers programmatic solutions to publishers, advertisers and agencies. One of these solutions is a Consent Management Platform (CMP) with which it manages cookie consent on the websites and web applications of publisher groups such as eldiario.es or the entire A3 Media group.

Due to the high traffic that these publishers generate, they decided to migrate to ourSecure Cloud Platform solution on AWS. In addition to the CMP, Sibbo Ventures provides its clients with statistics on visits and acceptance of consents, for which they have deployed a big data analysis solution on a data lake in AWS S3.

Electrocosto.com is an online retailer of household appliances and accessories. They were pioneers in the sector and started with grayhats in 2014 when they started to have scalability and security issues due to their rapid growth. We migrated and consolidated their VPS server infrastructure from different providers to an architecture based on AWS web services.

From this point on, they began to benefit from key services such as elastic computing, storage, email delivery and, above all, security features. This allowed them to grow on a solid environment infrastructure that supported their aggressive online advertising and marketing campaigns with an average annual downtime that never exceeded 5 minutes. Electrocosto today is one of the leading companies in the online appliance sales sector with an annual turnover of more than 30 million euros.

Schmitz Cargobull is a German multinational company in the automotive sector that manufactures trailers and truck bodies. They are headquartered in Horstmar, Germany and currently have more than 6,500 employees worldwide. A good proportion of them engineers. Grayhats has assisted SC in the design and implementation of a cloud-based virtual desktop delivery solution for engineers (workstations) that improves collaboration between engineers in different locations and reduces their idle and waiting times when transferring CAD models.

Aixtron is a publicly traded multinational high-tech company based in Cologne, Germany. They are significant player in the semiconductor sector worldwide, and develop and manufacture complex products. Grayhats has assisted them in defining its cloud adoption strategy as well as its cybersecurity strategy. We have carried out high performance computing projects for fluid dynamics simulation, definition and implementation of workstations for mobility engineers and other R&D projects.

DCOOP is one of Spain's largest agricultural and livestock cooperatives with headquarters in Antequera, (Spain). Grayhats is helping DCOOP define its cloud adoption strategy to improve both the technology services it provides to its members and its resilience in the event of a cyber-attack.

The Agrifluide group is dedicated to the manufacture and marketing of liquid fertilisers. Their differentiating factor is that they use an exclusive component called PHC in their fertilisers that reduces the amount of fertiliser needed to effectively fertilise an area of land. In their commitment to the environment, efficient crops and precision agriculture, they decided to include in their portfolio of services, a variable rate fertiliser solution based on LoraWan and FiWare networks,

which is affordable and allows their customers to produce more while using fewer resources. It maps the soil nutrients on a farm's soil, shows the nutrient density per m2 and fertilises with different amounts of fertiliser according to need.

Cordoba City Council turned to Grayhats in 2014 for its initial implementation of the National Security Scheme (ENS). Since then, we have participated in many projects, including the securitisation of its perimeter using Palo Alto Networks next-generation firewalls. Front securisation of more than 60 websites with Imperva's application firewall,

the provision of high availability cloud infrastructure on AWS for highly seasonal and critical web applications such as the website of the patios annual festival. We also provide cloud storage for the backup of the digitisation of the municipal television archive.

Through the Digital Transformation Deptartment, the University of Cordoba participates in the project financed with European funds Feder, for the modernisation of the Innolivar olive grove, advising on best practices and technologies to achieve the project's objective. Grayhats collaborates with the classroom in this project by providing and operating innovative cloud services for the innolivar project.

In particular we are providing a PKI and server infrastructure hosting FiWare context servers that receive and monitor information collected by IoT sensors.
 

Natural Soft is a company from Granada (Spain) that produces software solutions for hospitals, reproduction, dental and geriatric clinics. These solutions are highly critical in terms of availability and confidentiality of the information they handle and for that reason they serve them from an AWS infrastructure. Natural Soft has had very strong growth from the beginning and today they have customers with cloud infrastructure deployed on 5 continents. Grayhats has been with them from the beginning and helps them with support and in defining their cloud and security strategy.

Cordópolis is a digital newspaper focused on news from Córdoba (Spain) and its province. They were clients of grayhats from mid-2018 until the beginning of 2021 when they became part of the eldiario.es group. During this time, Cordópolis experienced strong growth in readership, becoming the leading digital newspaper in the province of Cordoba.

Grayhats fueled this growth with a solid cloud infrastructure where they hosted the newspaper, as well as a fast and 24x7 support service. During this time, Cordópolis was able to withstand both very strong peaks in demand due to the publication of high-impact news, as well as different types of cyber-attacks.

Eureka is a record label that has been producing records and audiovisual material since 2004. In a year's work they can generate several teras of information in material that once released has to be kept for the rest, or deleted. Among this material there are gems and even material from artists who are already dead, so deleting it is not very advisable because you never know when a song might be successful and need to be remixed and reissued.

The storage and archiving of such material was done on portable USB hard drives that were stored on shelves. They were aware of the short durability in terms of years that the information stored on magnetic disks has, about 5 years on average, so they were looking for a durable and affordable archiving solution that would allow them to archive for life and eventually retrieve the information if the need arises.

Grayhats, through its managed storage platform solution, is helping Eureka to upload and store all this data on the AWS S3 Glacier service where a tera of stored data costs just over €3 per month and has the highest replication and durability guarantees on AWS.
